After months of a dangerous road slip on Hartland Road, the State Road contracted out the repair job. During construction, the Ace Cub Reporter watched the progress nearly every day. Inmates laid every block and hand tamped the gravel fill material.
  Something was wrong with the job. That 20 some foot tall block wall did NOT have reinforcing rebar inserted. Other than some rebar down in the foundation for support, NO upright steel was placed in the wall
  Further, no horizontal rods or straps were included in the job to tie the new wall to the hillside. Nothing
  So sure that the darn thing would crack open and fall in short order, on this site, we fortold: that wall will crumble away by Christmas 2019.

Here's a shot at the retaining wall on Dec 24th. That Mel Gibson look alike saw no, none, zero, ninguno cracks in the structure. The wall is standing. That means just one thing. The Ace Cub Reporter was wro ..... wroooo, wrooon........ $$##@@!!! wrong.
