Do You Believe?
It is easy to say we believe something and may not even have a clue.  It is easy to say I am this or that without even realizing what we are saying.  There are multitudes who say they are a Christian and don’t even go to church.  Millions say they are a Christian who have no knowledge of what the Bible says.  Many are they who say they are a Christian who have never repented of their sin and have never asked Jesus into their heart.  There are men and women who have assumed the role of pastor who are living a lifestyle that God calls an abomination.  The devil believes in God.  He really does.  The devil knows that Jesus is Lord and knows all power is in His hand.  The devil knows Jesus heals and sets captives free.  The devil knows that Jesus is coming back to get His Church.  What do you believe?
Do you believe that is the blood of Jesus that washes away all sin?  Do you believe that Jesus paid the price that every one who puts their trust in Him and calls upon His name will be given eternal life?  Do you believe that God is the healer?  Do you believe that Jesus paid the price for your healing with 39 stripes on His back at Calvary?  Do you believe that Jesus rose from death on the third day and soon thereafter ascended to Heaven and even now sits at the right hand of the Father?  Do you believe God loves you?  Do you believe that when Jesus ascended to Heaven that He sent the Holy Ghost to help us on our journey?  Do you believe that there are two elements needed for salvation.  It takes the grace of God and it takes the faith God has placed in you.  Do you believe?
Today it is being preached and taught from the pulpit that God has changed. It is being taught that there is more than one way to Heaven.  It is being taught that when you die a natural death that that is the end of it.  It is being taught that the outpouring of the Holy Ghost was only for the days of the Apostles and that signs and wonders no longer can be expected.
God knew that these days would come and in His wisdom He sent us His Word that we could go to it and know of these times.  The devil has tried time and again to destroy the Bible but he couldn’t so he has tried to tell us that it can’t be understood and that it is old fashioned and times have changed.  What do you believe?  Does God’s Word reign supreme or have you been so indoctrinated with man’s theologies and persuasions that you no longer  believe what the Bible declares, or have you built your foundation on only certain parts of  it?
On thing I know.  God does not change.  Jesus has all power.  The Holy Ghost is still here and He hasn’t changed either.  The Bible also has not changed because the Word of God is so powerful that God Himself holds Himself accountable to what it says.  Perhaps it is we that have changed and need to repent and take another look at what God said.  He is still saying it.
