It's A Miracle!
Trail Cleared to Ivydale

12-8-2019 Contractors got the brush removed from the future hiking trail earlier this week. It's a miracle... well, the plan was to have the rails and ties up abd out of there nine days ago. Didn't happen but progress is being made. But, from Ivydale to Duck, the brush is all gone. A major portion of the ERTS State Park has also had rails and ties removed.

Here's the gizmo responsbile for eating up 12 inch thick trees and brush.

There are problems along that 12 mile section of rails. Above is what the trails are suppose to look like after brush removal

Look closely. Notice the rails and ties have been pushed off the ballast

Here, the line was washed completely off the ballast and are hanging in mid air.
