Nothing but blue sky and Summer temps were in the
air for the opening night of the 2019 Clay County Golden
Delicious Festival held on Courthouse Square. Vendors were
at the ready, the carnival was open for business. Before the
Karake contest got under way, the First Responder's Parade
was loud with sirens roaring. Little kids loved it!.
The night came off
without a hitch and was well received by a very respectable
size crowd on hand. Here's a few images for your scrapbook.
