A BUNCH COMING UP!
Deliciously Vivid Meets

Deliciously Vivid (DV) gathered on January 13, 2020 with discussions of so many events coming up this year, including the use of a new business opening up!
First off is the treasurer’s report. They are maintaining over $2 thousand in their bank account; gathered by either donation or raised through events. There are still some expenses to be paid from the Christmas celebration, but not too much.
With no old business to discuss, the onslaught of many new events to come. Clay County Services Unlimited has decided to open up a new business in town called “The HUB.” They will be serving specialty coffee, an ever changing menu, and host many artisan workshops Deliciously Vivid will have to offer.
DV plans to hold artisan workshops every  month at the HUB, and will start monthly auctions on February 1st at the Lions Club. February will also have a couponing class on the 17th at 5pm. On the 21st, there will be an “Open Mic at the HUB” from 6pm-9pm. The entry fee is $5, and they encourage anyone 18 years of age or younger to enter.
March will hold a class for crocheting, and DV’s second Gun Show on the 21st. They are already almost fully booked for the gun show. It is already bigger than the previous one. There will be an eagle mascot for the children to get pictures with. April still has planning, but there will be a fundraiser for the Lizemore Fire Department, May is a break month, and June there will hold their first DV Wheels Rally on the 6th. There will be motorcycles, ATV’s, and a cruise in. There will be games, and vendors lining the street.
July will host another Gun Show and a Flea Market, an adult prom in August, October will be the Spooktacular, and November will host a Veteran’s Day gathering. They have hopes to bring in the “Moving Wall,” the half size replica of the Vietnam Memorial wall for the gathering. December will be the Christmas Celebration.
The group agreed to hunt for a sturdy storage building to hold all of the supplies for the different events, most of them have rooms they haven’t seen in months.
Deliciously Vivid would like everyone to participate the Facelift for Clay. HGTV is running a new show where they renovate entire towns! Contact Vanessa Dunigan for details. 304-651-3337.
All of the artisan workshops will be $25 for each person except the crochet class, which will be free.
