   Lets start off this Blotter update with  an alleged pervert. Felony 90 goes to Jonathan Todd Lyons (DOB 1-11-1974) stands charged with felony sexual assault first degree. The criminal complaint was penned by Green Shirt FL Raynor from the Clay Detachment. Warrant and probable cause was issued by Magistrate Jeff Boggs on 10-30-2020.
  Paraphrased from the public file:  Audio statement came from the daughter. She stated that between the ages of 8 and 12, her father had her give him oral sex and it happened between 50 and 75 times. She stated that she didn't known any better and he would tell her it would taste like a vanilla milkshake. On Oct 1st Green Shirt Raynor had Mr Lyons stop by their resort where he admitted having his daughter give him oral sex 6 times.
  Lyons is looking at 15 years behind bars court fees and any medical costs

  For this year, felony 86 goes to John Joseph Ward III (DOB 11-5-1975) who is charged with wanton endangerment involving a firearm. Green shirt RR Cervera on 10-20-2020.
  Here goes with the write up albeit edited.
  Around 3 pm on Oct 20th, victim Erwin Thorne of Ivydale (along with wife and son) was in his building and heard someone firing a gun followed by hearing the lead strike the building he was in. He noticed Patrick Morris across across the river and told him to stop shooting. Morris replied, " he ould shoot on his own property all he wanted."
  On the 21st the Badge located a John Ward at Patrick Morris's address. ... Ward then informed the Badge that he was the one shooting the gun. Cervera took possession of the Beretta 22 caliber.
  The audio recorded statement included, Ward was firing the pistol at a balloon  in the river the day prior. He advised that he was the only one firing the pistol. When he heard Mr Thorne yelling, he skedaddled down the road.

  Felonies 87 and 88 are awarded to Patrick William Morris (DOB5-18-1976). Number 87 is related to the incident just published above where John Ward III said he was the only one that fired a pistol across the river near Mr Thorne's home. Provided by RR Cervera via a criminal complaint and edited:
  Cervera asked Morris to take a gun residue test. After refusing to do that, Morris admitted he did shot the pistol down river.

  Sometimes, things just snowball down hill. That was the case while the other investigation was going on concerning the bullets bouncing off that Mr Thorne's outbuilding.
  Felony 88 reads... Top BAdge Holcomb along with Black Shirt Caruthers were at Morris's place to serve a warrant. While there poor ole Patrick took off out the back door. Caruthers is a young guy capable of chase and  did so. Morris did not cooperate while on the ground and resisted handcuffing.
  Finally Morris was cuffed.
  Inside the house, low and behold, there was a cigar box loaded with drugs including, bags and jars of pot, meth, and heroin.
   Patrick Morris has graced the Magistrate office many times in the last many years and the frequency appears to be closer and closer together. This time around, with these new charges, he may be behind bars for several years and owe thousands in fines.
  Sad case for a guy that is, was, capable of a good life.
