Metro News broke the story early Monday morning. Here's the online report from that media outlet: An altercation between two Clay County residents leaves one dead and one at large today.   James Stone,47, of Lizemores died of a gunshot wound suffered at his home around 9:30 Sunday evening. State Police identify the shooter as Gary Wayne Moore, 48, of Lizemores.  Troopers indicate Moore came to Stone’s home on Hubbard Lane near Lizemores around 9 p.m. Sunday. The two got into an argument which escalated into a physical altercation. According to troopers, Moore left the home and retrieved a firearm from his truck, returned to the house, and shot Stone in the chest as he stood on the front porch.   Moore then allegedly fled the scene.
    Troopers issued on a bulletin to be lookout for a 2005 dark colored Chevy Silverado with WV plates 3XY-652. They believe Moore is traveling in that vehicle and he’s considered armed and dangerous. Anyone spotting the vehicle is urged to call local law enforcement, but not to approach the suspect.

  Born Oct 6, 1971, Gary Wayne Moore was arrested after the warrant was issued on that same day. Mr Moore is not new to the court system in Clayberry. Back in July of 2017, he was arrested on receiving and transferring stolen goods charges.
