Sometimes it takes a little longer for the wheels of justice to get everything in order. Felony 4 from back in Jan just became public. The award goes to Christopher Ryan Nottingham (DOB 5-31-1980 from Bickmore) for receiving and transferring stolen goods.  Green Shirt B R Smith was the arresting Badge on Jan 10th.
If you go back and read the criminal complaint #2 (Jesse Gibson) , this write up amounts to the same offense, cutting off and stealing a catalytic converter on Dec 26 2022, except for this time around the subject is Mr Nottingham.
The only additional info on #4 is, the stolen converter was sold locally for recycling and resets put the finger on Mr Nottingham

Russel G Moore

Felony 11 was given to Russel G Moore (DOB 7-31-73) around Dec 20 2022. He was charged by Green Shirt J M Ellis for stealing transferring stolen goods.
From the criminal complaint and paraphrased a bunch: The call came in that a stolen black UTV had been spotted in the Lizemore area at home of Russel Moore.
Ellis made the trip down there and right out in easy view, there was the UTV. Turns out the description matched one swiped from down in Kanawha County.  Folks at the residence said Yelp, it had been there a while and Mr Moore was allegedly working on it for a relative.
Further inspection revealed that the serial number had been sanded off to bare metal.   Green Shirt VIN Specialist worked his magic and sure enough, it was the stolen UTV.
The Badge located Mr Moore in Central Regional Jail. Moore denied any and all knowledge of the machine but managed to get charged any way.

Braden Woods

Felony 12 Braden Todd Wood (DOB 7-15-98 from Duck) was charged with arson 3rd degree by Green Shirt R E Wiseman.
Around 6pm on Feb 9th, Badges were dispatched to a fire on Duffield Road in Duck.
On the work EMT's told Law that they had seen a man without a shirt, in jeans,  wearing a straw hat (Woods) walk over to to a truck, throw in a gallon jug of something, and then it burst into flames.
In the woods the Badges did go in search of Woods.  Shortly they found a guy matching the description, Braden T Woods, who told em, nope, not me buddy, I was throwing wawa on the blaze to put it out!.
Despite his best statements, off to CRJ Woods did go.

Roger Dale Rogers

Ahhhh a name most in the county already known for his many encounters with law enforcement. Felony 13 Roger Dale Rogers (DOB 1-24-72 from Glen) stands charged with driving revoked for DUI 3rd offense, driving suspended, no insurance, driving an ATV on roadway faster than 25 mph.
Green Shirt J M Mack did the honors.
With three Badges sitting beside the road near Lizemore Church. Here came Rogers on a green ATV clearly showing poor mechanical condition. With the Badges trying to make the stop, Rogers skedaddled up a side road and continued for 100 yeards until he ran into a trash dumpster.
A call to dispatch revealed that this wasn't Rogers first rodeo. Charges showed from 2004, 2000, and 2018.
Later that day Ronnie Rogers was taken to CRJ to live on our dime for a while longer.

Felony 14 Johnathon G Williams (DOB 4-26-1992) No known address was written up by J M Ellis around Feb 21st when a warrant for his arrest was signed by Magistrate Jeff Rider.
From the complaint: Around 7pm on Feb 14th a theft complaint came in from Cherokee Drive. A Gray subject reported a break in and bunches of stuff was swiped from their home including, taking a shower stall!
A neighbor reported seeing a maroon Toyota pick em up truck had been seen at that abode.
The neighbor took a snap shot of the truck and also had some home security footage of Williams inside the home showing him removing a trail cam, Galaxy cellphone, HP laptop puter, box of tools, clothes and a bunch more.
When found and sentenced, Mr Williams is looking at up to 15 years behind bars
