How Soon?
   Is it just another disease or is it possibly a curse such as that mentioned in Deuteronomy chapter 28?  Is it just another gang or is it children disobedient to their parents as mentioned by the Apostle Paul.  Is it just another military confrontation or is it wars mentioned in Matthew 24?  Is the stuff that comes out of Hollywood just another level of entertainment or is it the devil continuing to bombard our culture with sinful pleasure that will take a devastating toll in the days that lay ahead?  The Bible says that in the last days evil men would wax worse and worse.  Can we deny that it is all around us today?  Prisons are full and courts are continuously dealing with a backlog of cases.  The airways are bombarded with “you need this pill or you need that one.”  Attorneys line up to make their appeal of how much  money they can get for you.  Where are we anyway?

    Politicians cry out that we only have 10 or 12 years before the polar ice cays are gone and the seas rise to make their mark on the decline of our civilization.  The rain forests of Brazil are being cleared away for “progress”.  In some regions the air pollution is so real you can’t even see through it.  Many denominations are giving way to sexual perversion.  Our schools are teaching “modern history” instead of the price our forefathers paid for the liberty we enjoy.  Con artists stalk us at every turn with their appealing but devastating scams.  Congress can’t seem to agree on anything and the politicians are more interested in being reelected than serving their people.  Even the scientific community warn us of impending disaster and the end of life as we know it.

   Pastors are leaving their flocks and the flocks are riddled with the comforts of religion instead of the commitment to righteousness.  Drugs are rampant and sinking their claws on every level of society.  Some cities are proud to claim themselves as sanctuary cities and welcome the criminals and those that prey on our society.

    When darkness sets in the city streets empty out as fear takes over and hopefully the security of home will be enough.  Where are we?

    We are extremely near the return of Jesus Christ to gather His Church and when that happens (the rapture) the Tribulation period will begin.  Evil will abound and blood will flow as never before.  The wrath of God will be unveiled upon those who have rejected the salvation purchased for them at Calvary’s Cross by the spilled blood of Jesus.  To put it mildly, all Hell will be turned loose.  When will it happen?  Only God the Father knows.  God will honor the choice you have made.  God will honor the choice the sinner has made even though He is not willing that any would, but millions will be cast into Hell for all eternity.  No one can make that choice for you.  It is either Jesus and Heaven or rebellion and Hell.  The question is not so much of where are we, but, where are you.  God loves you.
