BLOTTER Larry Cummings

Larry Joe Cummings (DOB
3-19-1993, Felony #20) was charged with a couple felony and
misdemeanor charges including fleeing in a vehicle, no
driver's license; improper registration, making false
statements, improper equipment, destruction of property on
March 14 2020 when probable cause was found by Magistrate Jeff
Boggs.
Green Shirt R E Wiseman had the honor of writing up the
following criminal complaint.
Around Noon:30 Badge Wiseman saw a gray SUV with
loud exhaust traveling down the Left Fork of Sandy in
Wallback. While attempting to make the stop, off it went down
Sandy Road. Lights and sirens were used.
Driving recklessly, a white pick up swerved off the
road to avoid being struck. On Camp Creek Road, the driver
lost control and crashed causing property damage.
Driver Larry Joe Cummings was cuffed. The vehicle had a
fraudulent sticker. The sticker was made from a green Bible
with the year 2020 wrote on it with a black marker. Cummings
also did not have insurance nor registration.
Charleston 911 Center advised, Cummings had an
active warrant for a parole violation. Dispatch advised,
Cummings' driver's license had been suspended.
As a note, the fleeing charge alone could cost Cummings
five years in the slammer.
As a second note, your car is illegal and you don't
have a driver's license. You see a Badge mobile coming your
way. If you're in your right mind, would you goose the engine
so your bad exhaust is louder????

George Barnes Charged

Mr Barnes is charged
as a person prohibited from having a weapon and wanton
endangerment. If the Judge throws the
book at him, he's looking at 6 years or so.
Penned by Green Shirt J M Ellis, here's the criminal
complaint on file in the Magistrate Clerk's office. Around 2pm
on Friday Feb 2 2020, Ellis was summoned to Bomont Road in
reference to someone shooting at a house. The victim, caller,
Timothy Donahue, informed: he had let Barnes and his
girlfriend come in and take showers; Barnes asked if the
victim would keep a pistol for Barnes. That pistol
matched the description of a pistol stolen in Kanawha County.
The next morning Barnes came around seeking Donahue to
return of the pistol. Seeing no other person with Barnes who
was walking, the pistol was returned to him. Shortly
thereafter, Donahue heard a loud noise.
The next day, Feb 2nd, Donahue discovered a
bullet hole in his house. The bullet went thru the top left
corner of the outside window facing the road. The bullet
traveled thru the living room and thru a hallway and the
bathroom.
Mr Barnes was convicted on a terrorist
threat to commit an act in May 2019. Barnes was found guilty
and is prohibited from having a firearm.
Yelp, he's in deep stuff if found guilty of the new
felony.
