Good News
We live in troubling times.
Fear abounds and confusion is everywhere. From coast to
coast and nation to nation apprehension awaits around every
corner. The government does its best and doctors are
pressed to the full. In many minds hope is fading and
questions are unanswered.
However, for every person, regardless on
nationality or age or health there is good news. That is,
if Jesus Christ lives in your heart and you are a
Christian. If you continue to trust in Him it will be
ok. If you aren’t attacked by the corona virus you can say
Halleujah. If you are victimized by the virus and recover,
you can say Glory to God. If you should become a fatality
you can shout Praise the Lord for you have left this world and
all its evil and pain and will spend eternity in Heaven with
Jesus and all your family that has gone before. Either way
you win. That’s good news.
The good news doesn’t end there. That
is not one person on this planet that God doesn’t love.
There is not one person on this planet that Jesus did not die
for. There is not one person on this planet that cannot be
born again and have all their sins removed by the blood of Jesus
and receive eternal life. That includes you and me.
We were all sinners. We have all made mistakes we are
sorry for. We all were born in sin and if we didn’t
receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior were destined for
hell. But thanks to the love, grace and mercy of God and
the sacrifice Jesus made at Calvary it doesn’t end there.
One by one we make our choices. Those who receive Jesus
will end this life and begin the most wonderful life in
Heaven. Jesus is the only way to Heaven and all other
avenues and attempts end in failure. Good works is not the
way. Church membership is not the way. A good moral
life is not the way. Jesus said He is the way the truth
and the life and no man comes to the Father or salvation except
by Him. He paid the price; He bore the sin; He
made the way where there was no other way. To get to
Heaven and eternal life you must be born again. Pergatory
doesn’t exist. Good works are not enough. Where does
that leave you? Your choice.
Maranatha!
