New
Business Opens in Clay
It's hard to imagine a tougher time to start a
new business than right now. That's what's happening in
downtown Clay in the old Seneca Grille building on Main
Street. Remember the Grille? If you take a look at it
today, you wouldn't recognize it. The place has had a much
needed face lift from ceiling to floor!

Here's some info provided by
the Williams: Sarah and B J Williams are the owners of Small
Town Market LLC at 112 Main Street, Clay WV. (Inside
where the old H&R block used to be) we wanted to bring
back affordable, locally grown grocery needs to our hometown
community.
Our market offers beef, pork, chicken, cheese
and a variety of fruits and vegetables. We are now open and
our hours are Monday through Friday, 10-6, Sundays 12-5 and
closed on Saturdays.
Due to the coronavirus, in order to keep ourselves
and our customers safe we will be conducting business
through our front window. Customers will be able to review a
product/price list and we will gather up their order and
pass it through the window. We accept cash and credit (no
checks). We are currently working on being approved to
accept EBT but cannot at this time. (We promise this is
coming soon.)
Until the coronavirus is over we will also be
taking orders throughout business hours during the week and
delivering on Sundays to the people in the community who are
not able to safely shop with us. The number to place your
order (during business hours)
304
546 2866

When we
talked with Sarah on March 30th, she said they are still
working on the store hours, waiting for more produce to arrive
as well as the outdoor sign.
Welcome
to Clayberry and the best of grand opening wishes.
