Felony 94  Elizabeth Anne Moore (DOB 11-21-74)   Green Shirt Miller had the honors on this case of swiping checks and then passing them at local businesses. The case dates back to Oct 2020 thru Nov 1st.  From the criminal complaint, victim Kay Gray noticed four checks missing. Two of the checks were written on Ginos and two more at Bullard's Gas Station in Maysel. Ms Gray suspected that Moore did the sticky fingeritus.
Compliments video cameras worked their magic with Bullard's capturing the caper.
Elizabeth Anne Moore stands charged with forgery.

Felony 101 Brian Wayne Chandler (DOB 2-6-82)  has been charged with grand larceny. The arresting Green Shirt was S L Bass. From back in Dec 2020, victim Betty Lee stated that her boyfriend left her home a few days earlier in her 2016 Mustang. Chandler refused to return the ride and told Ms Lee: she will never get the car back, that he would burn it before she EVER gets it back.

Felony 102 George Leonard Barnes (DOB 8-10-89) is in the grease on grand larceny charges. Green Shirt J A Miller had the honors with this arrest. Here goes and paraphrased:   Dec 19, 4:30 in the morning, Clay 911 was called by Jerry Stover who reported his vehicle stolen. Stover told the Green Shirt, he had picked up Barnes the night before who he had known from the Maysel area. Barnes needed a ride and didn't have a place to stay.  Stover allowed Barnes to sleep downstairs at his Main Street Clay home.
Something woke Stover during the night. He went and checked down stairs where Barnes had skedaddled.  Outside, Stover's Toyota pick em up truck, it was nowhere to be seen.

And here comes the grand prize winner for this Blotter. Moral: you aught not try to sell your stolen goods to the real owner!
Felony 13 Kyle Britt Hamley (DOB 2-1-95)   Victim Kenneth Cummins received a text from an individual stating he wanted to sell a Stihl chainsaw for real cheap. That texter person was Kyle Hamley.
Victim Cummins met up with Hamley in the Go Mart parking lot to purchase the chainsaw valued at over $1000. Hamley was the passenger in a red Ford Focus.
Cummins and his wife approached the vehicle where Hamley retrieved the chainsaw from the rear of the Focus. Low and behold, Cummins immediately recognized the saw to be one stolen from him earlier that day.  When he looked into the trunk, yelp, there was a bunch of his property stolen earlier in the day.
When questioned about the saw, the driver and Hamley began striking Cummins who tried to keep the dynamic duo on the scene until Miller arrived. Didn't work, the driver fled on foot. Not so for Mr Hamley who was held at the scene of the crime.
Kenneth Cummins was able to produce serial numbers for three stolen saws of which one was recovered.
Selling to the victim was dumb but it gets better readers.
The Badge carted Hamley to the Green Shirt Resort in Big Otter for processing. In the holding room, Hamely was cuffed to a table. Compliments the video camera, Miller was able to see Hamley attempt to get out of the restraints.  Miller returned to the room and there was Hamley standing while attempting to get free. Needless to say, it didn't go well for Mr Hamley.
