20th with the arrests of Nicholas Confere (DOB 2-18-88,
Mammoth W Va); Trina J Morris (DOB5-23-77, Clay); and Carl
James Morris (DOB 6-4-67, Lizemores). Sorry , we couldn't dig
up a mug shot pic of Mr Morris.
All three are charged with possesion of meth (28.25 grams), possession of a stolen vehicle, and obstructing. Carl Morris was upped with driving with a suspended license.
From the three criminal complaint on file in the Magistrate Clerk's office and paraphrased:
Near 8pm on March 20th while doing routine traffic patrol a dark colored pick em tuck with expired MVI was heading down Route 4.
That truck had Texas registration and was driven by Mr Morris who was unable to provided any of the usual, registration, insurance, license, etc. Why trying to answer questions, Morris was confused and could not answer clearly.
Also in the front seat was Trina Morris (center) and Confere in the passenger position.
All three were acting weird, fidgety, nervous and did not want to answer anything. Confere fibbed about his name.
When all three were told to get out, low and behold, there in floor, under the front seat, there was a felt black bag.
All three to the Badges: What's that? Never seen that before. Not me buddy, never seen it!
That truck was noticed as being stolen from Nicholas County.
Here's something readers on each of the complaints. Never saw this wording in the past: "Under Federal Supervised Status for Conspiracy for distributing Meth."
