Dustin Alan Conley (DOB 5-25-1990)
stands charged with grand larceny. It's not his first brush
with Badges.
Late on June 5th, Conley got pulled over by Green Shirt RL Wiseman fro having a loud exhaust. Doing all the background radio checking, the vehicle came back clear.
One day later, the Green Shirt was contacted from Boone County to report, nope, it's stolen. Here's the exact wording for a second " Boone County reported that Linda K Kelly reported the vehicle stolen, she stated that she let Courtney Mae Justice borrow the her vehicle a couple days ago to p[ick up Dustin Alan Conley in Huntington W Va. The Justice lady told her,she and Conley traveled to Ovapa Road at which time, Mr Conley stole her vehicle.
Doing a little more leg work, our Green shirt contacted Ms Justice and who said, they had had a flat tire. she began walking to get some help, Mr Conley remained in the vehicle, and, upon returning to the vehicle, PooF!, it was all gone.
Conley's last conviction came in December 2010.
Probable cause was found and the warrant was issued by Magistrate Jeff Boggs

Anthony Lewis Jones (DOB 9-28-1990)
from Gassaway made it easy to get arrested on drug charges
in mid June. Penned by Green shirt Brian Young, a
brownish Ford sedan was coming at Young, in the wrong lane,
across the double in Ivydale! Dumb Dumb Dumb
Sure enough, in the glove box and the front seat, lots of meth and heroin were found.

Sorry, no pic for Matthew Stephen Nichols (DOB 1-19-1989) was charged with possession on May 30th. Penned by Badge Jeffrey B Hunt from Grantsville. From the complaint, Hunt was leaving the Big Otter Exxon station and noticed what looked like two men standing beside the road and a third on the ground... he thought he was seeing a fight.
While checking out the situmadation, Hunt noticed a piece of aluminum foils which was burnt. He also noticed canvas bag containing needles and a plastic wrap containing a crystal substance. The substance was field tested by two other Calhoun County Badges and sure as H, meth
While getting arrested, Matthew Nichols admitted , the drugs were his. He's looking at a big fine and up to 15 years in the slammer

Connie Sue Miller
Connie Sue Miller (DOB 9-21-1969) is one
heck of a nice person who sports a happy personality for the
most part. She's often in downtown Clay smiling,
chatting...... anywhere for that matter... last Summer we
saw her in a dump truck parked in the middle of Elk River!
On June 16th, the happiness changed to using a firearm. Green Shirt RR Cervera had the pleasure of writing up this little family feud ditty.
Here's the way we read it: On June 16th over on the side of Rt 1 over 2 there was an argument with Roger Rogers over him being on the property.... His sister, yes his sister, Connie Sue Miller, then pulled out a pistol and fired a shot at Mr Rogers. Witnesses were on hand for the event.
Cervera retrieved the spent casing and the pistol from Connie Sue.
We think, if the 51 year old had wanted to kill her brother, he would be pushing up daises right now. Still, the law is just that with Ms Miller looking at up to 5 years behind bars for her transgressions.
