William Howard Stephenson
   Felony 33 goes to William H Stephenson (DOB 1-27-1947) from Clay was charged with sexual abuse first degree from an incident on July 17th of this year. Penned by Top Badge Alan King and paraphrased a bunch:  Peggy Stephenson 's statement included that William came into her living room around midnight naked and tried to have sex with her against her will. He said that he wanted to F*** her , then grabbed her, and proceeded to try and get at her breasts and other sexual areas.
  Ms Stephenson felt physically threatened and afraid of bodily injury. After struggling with him for several hours, he went into the bedroom and while he was gone, she found a curtain rod and used it to deter him....


Everett Kurtis Meadows
   Felony 34 Everett Kurtis Meadows (DOB 11-24-90) from Rosedale West Virginia stands charged with felony receiving and transferring stolen goods dating back to July 31st. The Criminal Complaint was drawn up by Green Shirt Z L Lackey and includes: around 6:10pm on Sunday July 31st, Lackey was contacted by Braxton 911 regarding a stolen ATV from Frametown... Lackey was told by several locals, that they had seen the stolen ATV ridden by Meadows. The guy was found on 1177 Ivydale Road where the owner of the property advised, she had witnessed him riding the ATV to and from her residence.
  She said that earlier in the week the ATV had been white but Meadows had repainted it green. With the serial numbers matching that of the stolen unit, Mr Meadows was arrested on the spot.


Robert Lee Nicholas
Felony 35 has been awarded to Robert L Nicholas (DOB 7-26-64) from Clay. His transgression run down includes: Driving revoked 3rd offense; expired MVI; improper registration; failure to produce reg card; no seatbelt; defective equipment x 2; open alcohol container; loud exhaust; and, failure to produce operators.
  Green Shirt L A Wriston provides the following in written form:  On Aug 4th, just after midnight, it didn't take much detective work to hear Nicholas' loud exhaust on a gray Toyota Sienna pull into the Clay Go Mart.  When the feller backed out, Uh Oh, the Badge noticed a non working back up light.
  That's enough to get a ticket but then but then... When asked for the usual stuff when getting stopped, Nicholas had none, zero, ninguno.
  Our Badge of the Day noticed a dazed look and a 24 ounce can of Bud Ice laying in the front floorboard. When given a sobriety test, Nicholas passed with flying colors.
  What he couldn't pass was that radio check on his background. Yelp, his license had been yanked for DUI and two active Nicholas County warrants for DUI 2nd and DUI 3rd from Match 19 2020.
  Yelp, to the slammer he did go.
  Think, those other offenses were from way back in 2020. That's two years and maybe longer of driving illegally.


Ian Mathew Dobbins
Felony 36 Take a look at that mug shot of Ian Mathew Dobbins from lovely 1559 Wallback Road . How old does he look? 35 maybe 40? According to the Criminal Complaint found at the Courthouse, this guy hasn't been born yet. His date of birth is listed as 9-19-2022. Mr Dobbins is a living but thieving fetus.
  Being that young, we can understand how stupid he must be. He's charged with cutting down a couple of Elk Power Company poles and taking the hanging hardware and wire.
  Even dumber did you say??? He left the evidence in his front yard.
  He salvaged some for $180.00
  The local power supplier says the cost for replacement is $5035.14.
  Dumb Dumb Dumb!!
