Honey Pot Opens For Business
Aug 19 2020

There's been a whole slew of new people taking a gamble and opening businesses in 2020. One of those is the Honey Pot flower shop and cool crafts, primitives,  shirts and more. They are located right beside the old NAPA store and across from the 911 Center.

That's Honey Pot on the right with a bright yellow door

I started "The Honey Pot" as a Facebook group about two years ago just doing tumblers and license plates.  One evening I was talking with my family and a few friends and they encouraged me to open a shop. About a month later I was speaking to Tasha Wray and she was telling me how she wanted to get back into flowers, so we made a plan.. We would open a shop together!  Seemed like things just sailed along, sure, we hit some rough water here and there but before we knew it we were in a shop. It took a lot of hard work and long hours from our families but they were amazing and really went to work helping us reach our dreams.
"The Honey Pot" isn't just a floral shop, we offer a variety of merchandise: Custom tumblers, license plates, clothing, shoes, purses/bags, electronics and fresh homemade cupcakes!  Our goal is to be a one stop shop for gifts and merchandise .
Tasha Wray has an unexplainable passion for flowers, she truly loves doing arrangements and I've often heard her say " It's a great feeling, knowing you've helped bring happiness to someone even if it's their saddest day"
I am honored to get to work and learn from her. I've been asked several times where the name came from.. Well,  my husband is a beekeeper and our daughter had brought him a honey pot and when she handed it to him  she said, "There's always something sweet in "The Honey Pot" and there you have it. "There's always a sweet deal at  "The Honey Pot".'
We are excited to be apart for the amazing growth in Clay and the support from the community has been amazing. You all will never know how much you mean to us and we promise to offer you the best customer service because we are nothing without you.

Come and see us at "The Honey Pot" Monday - Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-2
