Heavy rain hit
County Clay late in the evening on August 31st. The wet stuff
continued til late in the afternoon on Sept 1st.
For this flood, we had plenty of notice well ahead of time. As predicamentated by the National Weather Service, most of the Clayberry got wet with between 2 and 4 inches of rain.
Electric, tele, and DSL service went away for most of the county until late in the afternoon, Sept 1st.
