afternoon a club of motorists came thru Clayberry and stopped
at the Clay Go Mart.
All the vehicles were antique Plymouth Prowlers. Chrysler motors produced the modern day hot rods for around a decade with the last ones manufactured around 2009. Prowler owners came as far away as New Mexico and Canada for the road event.
For us, such road trips are a way for Clayonians to make some serious $$$. With over 50 vehicles in the group and each purchasing gas, drinks, and munchies (amounting to around 70 dollars each), the dollars added up quickly.
The road trip originated from Stonewall Resort and the group is spending the entire week touring around West Virginia.
