911 calls for Fire Dept's came in early today. Arsonists went after two active churches in County Clay.
People's Community Church was a total loss
While fire crews were in route to People's Church, a Frontier Tele repair man noticed smoke coming from the basement portion of Flat Fork Church located 1.2 miles before the Peoples fire.
Damage to Flat Fork Church was mostly limited to the basement, class room, areas of the structure.
Around Noon
today, Chief Black Shirt Randy Holcomb had a couple in custody
for questioning. Turns out, they were the wrong bad guys.
Later, Holcomb felt they had a person of interest and hoped to
have that person in custody shortly. Both Top Badge Allen King
and Holcomb responded to the crime scene along with at least
four W Va Fire Marshall's. Big Otter and Clay fire departments
also responded.
There is little doubt that druggies were responsible for this rotten attack.
We will keep you posted as details emerge.

3:58p Sept 29th Sometime close to 4pm, a very out of breath Black Shirt Holcomb was on the radio telling dispatch that he had one in custody. About that same time, he called for an ambulance to come to the first burnt church. A few seconds later there was something about seeking a Green Shirt to come there too.
6:20 p Crackling over the scanner came Randy telling dispatch, he had one heading to Central Regional Jail. As of 7:14, we saw no new mug shots on that web portal. 'will keep checking
Sept 30 p We have another update on the arrest of Gary Wayne Schoolcraft. From the criminal complaint, in part: ...Schoolcraft did physically assault, punch, hit, strike, Chief Black shirt Randy Holcomb, Top Badge Allen King, and Bailiff Gary King and did fight, punch, kick, and fight the named officers...
As asked if the Fire Marshall's report was available it was not as of 2pm Thursday, Sept 30th.

Wayne Schoolcraft showed up in Central Regional Jail late
night. Born 12-6-1971, Ms Schoolcraft is charged with
obstructing a Badge and Battery on on a Badge. Two
guesses. Mr Schoolcraft put up some resistance and that's
why we heard a very out of breath Randy Holcomb while
talking to 911 Dispatch and two, the Fire Marshall has not
completed his investigation, thus, no charge of arson have
been filed yet.
